WORLD'S TOP MODELERS TACKLE THE DIFFICULT TASK OF RECREATING THE DEUCE OF SPADES STAR CARS

They say size matters. I could not agree more 
.
But in this case, smaller is better, much much better 
. I am talking of course NOT about "that" (you have such a dirty mind! Sheesh!), but rather about the DEUCE OF SPADES models that are, as we speak, being built by a team comprising of several world top modelers, includingJeff Palmer.
I was very thrilled to hear a thread about my film was posted in a car model forum recently. The word is out about my film and the Deuce of Spades gospel is spreading world wide faster than a wild fire on a Southern Californian hot windy day.
From small models forum the DOS virus spread to the larger models forums and I received a very nice email from one of the top guys there, expressing his excitement about the film in very eloquent words. And the light bulb in my little head went ON !
Why not make a custom 'one of a kind' model of the three star cars of the film?

Ex Vet veteran Robert W Hayes was just the man to get that ball rolling. The idea resonated strongly in his heart and he got started on the challenging project quasi instantly, coordinating the effort of the team, through his forum http://www.largescalemodeler.com .
The goal: To build exact replicas of the cars, IN 1/8TH SCALE, with ALL DETAILS, as true to the real cars as humanly possible. To create all not already available parts from scratch. THE FINISHED CARS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AS LONG AS 20 INCHES!!
The tools? Molds, custom molds, lots of custom molds, patience, tenacity, attention to detail, patience.. Oh and did I mention PATIENCE?
It will take many people and COUNTLESS HOURS of hard work to pull this off.
I will keep you posted of progress on and off here, but I want to also give you the direct link to the photo album that will keep photo track record of the progress of this amazing feat.
Currently the first car to be tackled is the red roadster, as a body was readily available. The louvered hood has to be custom created. See it all here:

The cars will be donated to me and we will have them on display at screenings, car events, etc to promote the film.
