Now done with my main theme score, I tossed my "Composer" hat and swiftly put my "Graphic designer" hat on.
The task? T design the DVD authoring menus for our DVD
Wow. I can't believe I have progressed down my TO DO list all the way to DVD authoring. This must mean I am almost done with this film!!!
I am very happy to report that the creative juices are flowing from every pore of my body and the design is coming along beautifully. Everything, falling into place, and I am happy with the results.
There were many menus to create but I am already done with all but one. The scene selection menu. This one needs another 4 to 5 hours on it and I should be DONE. Weeheee!
I must confess it has been a nice change of pace going from audio work (for the past many months) to graphics. My eyes are popping out of my face from staring at the screen so much, but otherwise I am doing grandissimo.
And really having fun .
I had allocated 3 days to create the animated menu (wich features a full minute worth of video and score). I figured editing the 1 minute clip would be challenging and I would probably agonize over each edit for a while.
I whipped up the whole shebang in an afternoon!!!!!
Once again everything was coming together, falling perfectly into place, as though it was just meant to be.
After all the frustrating struggle I experienced with the scoring, I must say this has been very refreshing. It's nice when now and then things go YOUR WAY. Hehehehehehehehe.
Well, I must go now, gotta start processing those screengrabs to make my SCENE SELECTION MENU.
